CSI offers a family of standard products designed to take advantage of the latest technologies — without holding our customers hostage to those technologies.

Proprietary components are designed primarily to benefit the vendor. Proprietary technology locks you in. It's expensive to use because it's single-sourced, it's expensive to migrate away from it, and it's difficult to use it with something not directly supported by the primary vendor.

Early on, CSI's management recognized that basing our systems on industry-standard components could help our customers achieve maximum return on their automation investments.

Here are some of the open, configurable products CSI offers:

• UCOS is designed for companies that want to move away from the limitations of traditional DCS, SCADA, or PLC+HMI systems without giving up any of the advantages.



• FUEL-FACS+ is a comprehensive terminal automation system for fuel terminals and pipelines — or any bulk liquid distributor.
  
  The Windows-based FUEL-FACS+ handles everything from business transactions to truck/marine/rail car loading to pipeline receipts to inventory and tank farm management and more.



• VXL is a supervisory control HMI for the OpenVMS platform. In use since 1987, VXL is known for ease of use and the many hardware connectivity options it affords.
