Boost Productivity

UCOS allows you to get more done with fewer people.

Boost Productivity

It takes a lot of engineers a lot of time to build most control systems.

Logic must be written for each device, which can number in the hundreds or thousands.

Each point must be named, tied to appropriate devices, and associated with the proper operator interface components. Points can number in the tens or hundreds of thousands.

Faceplates in one leading control system take specially trained developers days to create just one in a system that might require hundreds or thousands.

UCOS Requires Less Work and Fewer Developers

UCOS either eliminates the need to do the above tasks or reduces them to a simple matter of pointing, clicking, and filling in a few blanks.

That means it requires significantly fewer people to develop and maintain a UCOS control system compared to the competition.

A Real-Life Example

This isn't just theory. In 1992, CSI developed and installed a fuel distribution management and control system in four terminals for PEMEX, the Mexican oil company. Experienced engineers used the latest control system technology for that time.

In 1999 PEMEX wanted to upgrade those four terminals to the latest software and hardware technology. By then, UCOS was already controlling dozens of facilities around the world.

CSI retrofitted the four original PEMEX terminals with UCOS and four more terminals in about half the time and with about half the staff than the original 1992 project required.
