UCOS microFCU
The UCOS microFCU delivers a controller, logic processor, I/O modules, low voltage power supply, and great connectivity in a compact and reliable package.
 Larger Image (16K)
The UCOS microFCU lets you distribute control for faster and more secure processing without the high costs usually associated with a distributed architecture.
The software is the same as you'll find on the UCOS Field Control Unit.
The hardware can be just about any small PLC that runs a POSIX-compliant operating system. Opto 22's ultra-reliable SNAP Ultimate I/O is an excellent example of a PLC-based microFCU that is compact and includes built-in networking and extensive communication capabilities.

The UCOS microFCU can be delivered as an off-the-shelf RTU package complete with the controller, I/O modules, low-voltage power supply, battery backup, and communications device (radio/modem) that is ready for installation when it hits the job site.
The UCOS microFCU supports simpler, less-expensive, easier-to-maintain distributed I/O architectures.
