UCOS Network Options

Network Options

UCOS network options include many of the latest communications and networking technologies

UCOS can be networked via satellite (VSAT), local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), radio, or microwave using TCP/IP, Modbus, OPC, DDE, or proprietary protocols.

The LAN can use single or redundant Ethernet or fiber optic technology.

Regardless of the technology chosen, UCOS uses exception-based reporting techniques that minimizes network traffic and maximizes bandwidth usage.

As a consequence, UCOS makes it economically feasible to locate remote control functionality closer to the equipment being monitored and controlled.
