UCOS Alarms

The UCOS Alarm Viewer allows operators to monitor and acknowledge alarms and to customize the appearance of the alarm window.

UCOS Alarms

The top panel in an Alarm Viewer window displays unacknowledged alarms that are currently in alarm and require acknowledgment and alarms that are out of alarm but still require acknowledgment.

UCOS Alarm Viewer

The bottom panel displays alarms that are in alarm and have been acknowledged or do not require acknowledgment.

One or more alarms can be acknowledged with a single button click.

The alarms that are displayed depend on both developer and operator choices:

  • You associate each alarm with an alarm group and then choose which alarm groups can be displayed on each workstation.
  • Of the alarm groups that you allow to be displayed on a given workstation, the operator can choose to display all of those alarm groups or selected alarm groups.

The operator can also control the background color and the order in which alarms are displayed.

These characteristics can be saved and recalled at any time on a window-by-window basis.

The operator can display multiple Alarm Viewer windows each with different characteristics - different alarms, different display order, etc.
