UCOS Graphic Screens

One way to monitor and control your process is by using colorful UCOS graphic screens.

Configuring Graphic Screens
More Screens

Graphic screens are just one way to monitor and control your process in UCOS. (See command windows for another way.)

Operators can display multiple project graphics screens at one time. Screens can be selected for display from a drop-down menu or accessed via paging objects that are embedded on the screens.

You can use F keys to show or hide screens at run-time. These keyboard shortcuts can be specific to each workstation and are set up during project configuration.

Command windows for monitoring and controlling detailed device parameters can be displayed at any time by clicking on appropriate devices.

Depending on how the screens were configured, they may display real-time data via color changes, movement, numbers, text, etc.

You can configure screen objects that are linked to the executable file of an application within UCOS or to a third-party application. UCOS starts the application when the operator clicks the appropriate screen object. Similarly, you can configure screen objects that open or close other run-time screens.

The user's level of access to each screen is controlled by the security definitions entered during configuration. The levels of screen access include no access (screen cannot be displayed); view-only access; or full access (operator can send commands via command windows, as defined by the user's security profile).
